Aging In Place (Remaining In Your Home)
The home environment and setup can play a significant role in determining whether someone can successfully age in place (remain in their home as they get older). Making adaptations in the home and in the manner tasks are performed can enhance an individualās ability to maintain independence, safety and overall quality of life as they age.
Family Caregivers (Caring for Spouses and Aging Parents)
Data reveals an increase in the number of family caregivers in the United States of 9.5 million from 2015 to 2020. Family caregivers now encompass more than one in five Americans. The study also reveals that family caregivers are in worse health compared to five years ago.
